Handgun Academy-Phase 1

Our introductory beginner firearms training course, Phase 1, is meticulously crafted for novice gun owners. This class will provide a comprehensive understanding of firearms including pistols, revolvers, and rifles along with other detailed insights into their operation. Instructors will cover safety measures, nomenclature and operation, disassembly and cleaning, and guidance on choosing your firearm. Notes for all Phases of Academy - please read carefully. . Handguns can be rented from an instructor for $100, payable directly to the instructor. . Students who have a handgun, please bring 200 rounds of ammunition. . Do not bring a loaded handgun or ammunition into the classroom. . Leave your unloaded handgun in your vehicle unless told otherwise by the instructor. . All students must bring eye and ear protection. . You are welcome to bring personal snacks and drinks for the day. None will be provided. . Students must pay $15 for use of the Foothills Shooting Complex on the day of class.
