Summary

This course presents the Airport Firefighter candidate with information regarding firefighting operations at airports and on aircraft. This series will present the candidate with the knowledge, skills, and ability to satisfy the requirements of NFPA 1003: Standard for Airport Fire Fighter Professional Qualifications (2019 edition). This course should be offered consistent with the most current NC Fire and Rescue Commission guidelines; contact the Office of State Fire Marshal (OSFM) for details. Effective date July 1, 2020/NFPA 1003 Standard, 2019 edition.
